La Badia is a very sunny typical Catalan house (a masia), surrounded by forest and farmlands. Located in the Vall D’Hostoles, inside the Natural Park of the Volcanic Area of the Garrotxa it also has an excellent view of the Natural Interest Area of Collsacabra.

The house has two independent apartments, each one with a living room, a dining room, a totally equipped kitchen, a full bath, two bedrooms, television set, central heating and a fireplace. Outside there is a large green space and a barbeque.

The zone is ideal to practice a full range of activities, from going on excursions or strolls, to visit the numerous sources that there are in the municipality, the volcanoes, the castles or the beech tree forests. Another interesting place to go sightseeing is the Santuari de la Salut(1,050 m), from where there is a breathtaking panoramic view of the whole valley, and even of the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava.

Near La Badia the is the bike track Olot-Girona,where people who love riding mountain bikes will find an interesting place to practice it. Furthermore, there are various routes through the valley.

La Badia is at 13 km from Olot, capital of the region of la Garrotxa where we can find a wide range of cultural and playful activities for both young and adult people.

Finally, the farm animals (rabbits, hens and ewes) are another attraction La Badia has to offer.
